*Sodium hydroxide, or lye, is necessary to make soap. No lye, no soap. It is converted through a chemical process called saponification into soap and glycerin. No lye remains in the finished bar.

Does TAloe Bar have a scent?

No, TAloe Bar is completely unscented, made without any fragrance or essential oils. It's a good option if you're sensitive to scent.

What's in TAloe Bar?

TAloe Bar is a cold process tallow soap made with tallow, aloe vera juice, and colloidal oatmeal, close to your skin's own natural oils. Note: this bar contains oatmeal, so it's not a good fit if you have an oat allergy.

Does TAloe Bar lather well in hard water?

Yes. This bar includes sodium gluconate and sorbitol, both natural ingredients that help produce a rich, stable lather even in hard water.

Why is TAloe Bar priced the same as your standard bars instead of your Purpose-Built bars?

TAloe Bar is part of our Purpose-Built collection, but it doesn't carry the same specialty-ingredient cost as our other Purpose-Built bars, so we price it at our standard tier.

Lather up with warm water, rinse and repeat. Your bar will last significantly longer if placed on a draining dish and allowed to dry fully between uses. Store unused bars in a cool dark place until ready to use.

You will receive one bar weighing a minimum of 4.25 oz (120 g), and wrapped in a eco-friendly shrink wrap designed to break down naturally.
